Issue:
Needed to bringing key plumbing fixtures up to standard following assessment.
We were engaged to assess and carry out repairs on several key plumbing fixtures as part of a broader property works package. Following inspection, we completed multiple upgrades to ensure the plumbing met current Australian Standards and resolved several maintenance concerns.
Scope of work:
Hot Water System Replacement:
- Identified a non-compliant electric hot water system that was over 20 years old and beyond repair.
- Supplied and installed a new compliant 250L electric hot water unit.
Toilet, Bathroom & laundry Repairs:
- Inspected and identified several issues with the toilet, including a bent seat, degraded buttons, and a leaking fitting behind the wall.
- Replaced the toilet with a like for like model.
- Supply and installed a new vanity and fittings.
- Supply and installed a new laundry tub and tapware.
Kitchen Fixture Reconnection:
- Disconnected and later reinstalled the kitchen sink and mixer tap as part of the broader upgrade works.
- Supplied new isolation stops, flexi hoses, copper fittings, and trap washers to ensure a reliable, compliant reconnection.
Outcome:
All works were completed to current standards and met the project budget, restoring functionality and safety across the kitchen, bathroom, and hot water system.
