Hot Water System Replacement

Issue:

Full hot water system failure.

We were engaged to assess a property with no hot water. Our inspection confirmed the existing electric hot water unit had failed and was leaking. The surrounding area also showed signs of water damage and required repair before a new system could be installed.

Scope of work:

• Safely disconnected and removed the existing electric hot water unit.
• Coordinated timing with repair works to ensure a safe and compliant new installation.
• Supplied and installed a new electric hot water system, complete with new valves.
• Pizza base and zinc safe tray for correct siting and protection.
• New copper pipework, fittings, and lagging insulation.
• Commissioned the unit and confirmed plumbing performance.

Outcome:

The property now has a fully compliant, professionally installed hot water system — set up to current Australian standards with protective components to extend the life of the unit and reduce risk of future water damage.
